Stolberger Metallwerke was established by the copper-master Leonhard Schleicher
Stolberg Metallwerke GmbH (SMW) was born our of a merger between Schleicher and Asten & Lynen
Kable und Metallwerke Gutehoffnungshütte AG (Kabelmetal) in Hannover acquires 49% shares of Stolberger Metallwerke (SMW)
Kabelmetal holds 100% of SMW shares
Kabelmetal was acquired by the Italian SMI Group
The Italian-French-German KM-Europa Metal AB (short:KME) is created through mergers. SMW retains its status as an independent company
SMW becomes fully integrated into the KME Group. Its name is KME Stolberger Metallwerke
KME Stolberger Metallwerke is contributed to the KMD Group JV, belong 100% to KMD Group Hong Kong
GD group holds 100% of KMD shares
